D & P Management Group properties utilize a combination of conservation techniques using new and renewed products. Some features include, but not limited to:
Efficiently-insulated windows, walls and flooring. Energy Star-rated appliances: furnace, water heater and kitchen appliances. Zero-VOC paints. Working with reclaimed, recycled, sustainablly sourced (local) products and durable materials.
D & P advocates teaching and educating tenants about minimizing energy use by using programmable thermostats, compact flourescent light bulbs and low-energy consumption electronics. Recycling and composting are already in frequent use at all of D & P’s properties.
